Our family believes your family deserves the best, and that's why we take the growing, harvesting, and production of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) very seriously. We strongly believe that to produce EVOO of the highest quality; one needs a deep knowledge of the tradition of one's land and the guidance of science and up-to-date technology. And we deliver on both of these points. The Land: Our Greek olive groves grow the local olive tree varieties of Chalkidiki on the land. The know-how and the tradition we have inherited from our elders play a significant role in how we produce our olives. And our whole growing process is under the guidance of the KRINOS Olive Center of American Farm School of Thessaloniki. The Science: When it comes to the science of EVOO making, we maintain close cooperation with specialists from universities and accredited laboratories, who study the needs of our trees in nutrients and have integrated all of our olives groves in an integrated management system. We apply regular organoleptic and chemical analyses on all products to control the quality at all times. Why is this all so important? It is scientifically proven that that olive oil is considered one of the healthiest foods and it contributes to heart health, the normal blood pressure and the LDL reduction. Moreover, olive oil as a natural juice of olive fruits contributes to the blood clots reduction and to the aging process slow down by reducing the oxidative stress. Our very delicious EVOO is very versatile too: You can baste your meat, fish, and poultry with it before grilling; replace your butter with EVOO for a healthier alternative; drizzle over salads or veggies to add a fresh flavor, and; it's most pleasing with all Mediterranean dishes.
