A good set of dumbbell weights - my home scale proves they are the correct weight, and I really like that they rubberized so that I can place them back on my rug without worrying about them making too much noise, or denting the hardwood floors underneath. I took one star away because of the intensely strong rubber smell that persisted for weeks. I actually had to store them in our garage in between uses because the rubber stink would envelop my bedroom. I even washed & scrubbed them. After approximately 3 weeks, the smell was weak enough to put them back in my bedroom. If you get close you can still smell it, but it doesn't stink up the room anymore.

Well constructed dumbell, but the handel is a bit long for the weight (it seems to be should be use with the 30 pounder). Otherwise, it's very well constructed equipment.

Great product but the rubber smell starts out strong. After 2 months it's much better but still there.

These dumbbells have metal handles that have a wider diameter in the middle between the weights. My hands felt uncomfortable when holding them. When I replaced the dumbbells with ones that have straight rods between the weights, all became good again.

Package came on time, box was ripped but don’t even care since it’s just a dumbbell inside.

Not much to go wrong with the design of dumbbells, but these dumbbells deserve a thumbs up. They are nicely finished and have a great grip. Would highly recommend them if you're in the market for rubber hex dumbbells.

This product is clearly listed as a pair. I ordered a pair of 15lbs dumbbells, paying what is clearly the full price of TWO dumbbells! Only to receive one!

Yes, there’s a bit of a smell — but that’s to be expected from any rubberized product. For me personally, the odour’s not too strong out of the box (and I know it will also fade over time), so therefore a non-issue.More importantly, I weighed these “5lb.” DBs on my smart scale a couple times; they seem to come out to 4.6 lbs each. Although I’m a bit disappointed that they came up a couple 100g’s short... the price is right, so these will still serve their purpose for my small home gym setup.Lastly, not sure if this was mentioned anywhere else on the Amazon listing or J/Fit brand website but this product’s tag says Made in China. Just an FYI for those who may care to know.

It does not smell. It has good grip, buy it, get stronk.
