Royal 1212X 12-Sheet Crosscut Shredder

Best shredder I have ever had and a pull out basket too!! The type that sits on the top of a basket never seems to have the switch work very long. This is going on a year without problems.

Good shredder. I had to replace my ifrst one because it became hopelessly jammed You must feed no more than 6 sheets and do not insert full letter size papers because it jams at the edges so I fold in half now. and empty often so it works fine. I found it $20 cheaper at Target but that was after I was using it so did not return to Amazon

My colleague has this shredder and loved it. So I bought one. When I first received I ten I put a couple sheets of paper through with no problems. I went to use it a couple of months later and it didn't work. I troubleshooted with no results. I tried to return through Amazon, but supplier refused. I called company and they said to yake it to a repair shop. I stated it was new and there is a one year warranty. Buyer beware this warranty is a scam! They do not have any repair shops they work with in my state. Royal stated I would have to pay to ship to them the defective shredder and they would send me a new one. The cost to send it to them is more than i originally bought it for! Don't buy from Royal!!! They do NOT stand by their product.

My aunt had one and broke easy but she would rather have the same exact model do not recommend at all

Received damaged. Having a very difficult time returning!

This is a weak shredder, and should not be run for more than 5 minutes at a time without [Royal states] giving the poor thing a 25 minute rest period...This is my second Royal and is only used at home, not in an office.
