Best Iron EVER!! I used one identical in a hotel a while back. I LOVED it, wrote down brand and model #. I finally ordered me one and I still LOVE it. I've ironed off and on my whole adult life. I mostly iron my husband FR shirts for work, my jeans occasionally and I quilt, so I iron seams, etc etc. I currently have 4 irons. I keep trying different irons, I've paid as much as $99.00 for an iron. Nothing compares to this iron. I don't have to apply much pressure when ironing because it steams wonderfully and has a nice weight to it. I highly recommend this iron,.

I spent a lot of time deciding which iron I should purchase to replace a very old, reliable Sunbeam which finally died. It was important to me to have a retractable cord. The Hamilton Beach Lightweight Clothes Iron fit the bill. In fact, the cord retracts very nicely! The iron is lightweight, and so far, it has worked well. No complaints. The one issue I have, which is the reason for the 4 stars, is that the iron's handle blocks my view of the setting dial. I have to angle the iron just so in order to read it. I also personally prefer a longer heat plate, but it seems most modern irons have gone the shorter route. Overall, a good buy for the money.

This is a very reliable brand. We have been married for 59 years and I have ironed every week, I’m sure during that time and still do. This iron is probably the first that has been light weight, which I felt was important for me. At this time, I think it operates as advertised. The other feature, i wish all appliances had is a place for the cords. This one winds into the base. Love it.

Arrived in good shape. No "burn off" smell with first use. Light weight and very stable when stood on end. Cord winder a nice bonus. Fast heat up,generous steam output. Excellent experience-Glad I got this one!

The iron has old world design and can’t keep up with modern irons. My black and decker that broker after 10 years of use has more feature and functionality that this idiotic iron. Don’t buy this.
