No.63 Men's Collection, Soap Cube

I used the same bar soap for many years, perfectly posh hippie bar soap. I absolutely loved that sun and there was no scent like it anywhere else which made it even harder for me when the company decided no longer to sell it. I could not for the life of me find the same scent anywhere and I searched high and low. I ended up settling on that every man jack sandalwood which smelled amazing but not all their products are up to par. Some of them just stink all together and do not do as advertised. In my searches for the perfect bar soap and sent I did come across this many of times but listening to the reviews which were good but the way people described the smell made me feel like it was going to be an old time old person sent. So after many of adventures to the store making my wife drive there due to the fact that I am a blind individual and due to the fact that I made I spend quite a lot of money on other soaps testing and more testing driving my kids absolutely insane by standing there smelling every single bar of soap we came across not only that having to make them read it to me all the ingredients etc. Little did I know that all I had to do was purchase this bar soap from the beginning and my adventure would’ve been over. This is an absolutely amazing product, it did not dry out my skin did not give me acne and did not cost me to get a rash as I have very, very sensitive skin. But what I loved most about this soap is the scent hast to be one of the best sense I have ever smelled in a bar soap yet to date. Also, the scent lingers and stays on the skin but not overwhelmingly. As soon as I use this product for two days only I decided to purchase the rest of the line of number 63. Can’t wait for the rest to arrive. I love the fact that not only can I enjoy the bar soap but I can have the moisturizer and other stuff to go with it. If you’re wondering we’re on the fence like I was, In my opinion I have to say do not be. Bite the bullet and get this hope it’s amazing! Not only did I love it my entire family loves it as well. But what matters to me most is the wife, and yes she definitely loved it. Finally, I have to add if there’s typos in this review only due to the fact that I am blind and have to use speech to text. And I hate, hate going in and fixing each and every typo. Only mentioning this so you do not think this is a fake review. I know English well and I can write good punctuation however it is often a pain on my iPad. Enjoy the product everyone

I love this soap. It smells sexy to me. It supposed to be for men, but I am woman and I love the scent. It lathers extremely well and a bar lasts quite a while. I’ve ordered it many times and as long as it’s available, I will continue to do so! My favorite scented bar soap. Everyone I’ve gifted it to love it as well!

I like this soap, for the most part. It's a pretty big square bar of soap. The scent is pretty nice and I mostly like it. It's herby/woodsy with maybe some faint florals (very faint...it just combines with the woodsy scent, filling out the earthiness. The only bit I didn't expect or care for is an ever so slight note of muskiness. I'm not a fan of musk scents, but it is such a faint aspect of the overall scent profile that I didn't let it bother me (I kind of have to try to notice it beneath the more prominent woodsy smells. Overall, it's a pleasant, masculine scent....despite the herbal tones, you won't mistake this for ladies soap (yet not so manly that it would be offputting if your girl used it). The scent will stick with you for quite awhile after your shower too. It's subtle though...no one's going to smell you out walking past them, but if they come in for a hug or snuggle up close (or get smushed up against you on the T) they'll notice you smell nice. I was a little disappointed in the moisturizing effects (or lack thereof). While it certainly doesn't dry your skin, I don't feel like it does much to moisturize either. In the warmer, summer half of the year it's fine. However, I tend to get a bit dried out and itchy in the cooler months if I don't moisturize. I was hoping this soap would do a better job of counteracting that dry itch, but not so much. In fairness, most soaps dry me out during those months. The trade off is, it washes off very cleanly. It doesn't leave any sort of oilyness or stickiness. Overall, this is a pretty good soap that smells quite nice. If you have normal to oily skin, it does a great job. If you tend to have itchy dry skin at times, you might want to try something more aimed at that skin type.

I quite like the manly smell. I characterize it as a ceder forest lumberjack smell or child's hamster cage with fresh cedar chips plus a bit of woody/oriental/incense stuff going on. The bar has not worn down in size a whole lot the last 4-6 weeks. No women have uncontrollably attacked me. I am disappointed in that respect but will not take a star off. Maybe I need the body wash too to get to the lumberjack smell thing with attack going on. Or maybe the scent will be an like an extra large hamster cage which still is not a turn on. Shampoo/body wash smells just like the soap and is 5 stars as well. Cologne-I will have to review it here since this thing groups all No. 63 reviews as the same item. I give it 4 stars. The scent is not the same as the soap or shampoo. There is far less cedar smell and it is kinda sickeningly sweet on top of that. It could pass for a woman's perfume. It does remind me very much of YSL LNDL. If you don't use this as a cologne, it is great to add to shampoo and body wash that does not have much scent at all like the Floyd's stuff that is supposed to be cedar scented but has virtually zero scent. Or add couple dozen squirts to Creemo cedar body wash which is similarly afflicted (at least the 2 pack I got here) plus couple oz of 63 body wash. Perfect remedy.

Love Pre de Provence soaps especially the No.63 line of men's products but who tf is going to pay these gouging prices. Some are priced over $40 for one bar of soap...like come on, it's absolutely ridiculous when I used to pay maybe $9 at most for their large soaps. Now they have all at the very least doubled in price, some have quadrupled. Absolutely disgusting how they are price gouging people, shame on them and their distributors on here!!!

Surprised by the good quality of peel. Fixing Nut is huge for fixing and looks great and is easy to use for big hands! Super purchase, seen much more expensive items that do not look as good!

Love this fragrance. Bold & masculine (which is a good thing) but not over powering.

I bought this as a Xmas present so we haven’t used it. But from what I smell he’s going to live it!
