Good Stealth Action Sandbox Game
I was really on the fence about this game because it was reported to be very short yet as I played through I found myself taking much longer than the reported game length. First, this is a beautiful game and the controls and gameplay are excellent. The new engine for this game is really well crafted providing an amazing next gen experience. Another complaint was about the price, this is a game that has a huge team and is obviously AAA material so the price is basically right where it needs to be. If just completing a game is the goal of the player perhaps they will not be happy but for the player that takes the time to explore the world that is provided there is quite a bit of content. The game is littered with items that range from weapons and collectibles to additional story information and side missions. After the main mission is completed side missions unlock giving the game more gameplay than I expected. The missions vary from guns blazing extractions to stealth executions and the freedom to do them how you like. Considering that it is only one large base that serves as the stage for this new Metal Gear experience there really is quite a bit of content, I've been messing around with it for about eight hours now and still only have a 13% completion rate so far. Ground Zeroes is just a big sandbox for the player to explore and it really showcases what to expect from The Phantom Pain. I love sandbox games and this really appeals to those that enjoy sandbox gameplay and a stealth game that should appeal to any player that is fond of the genre providing many different approaches to the missions. Also there is a companion app available on both Android and IPad that functions much like the AC4 companion app providing map and intel on a second screen which can be quite convenient. Overall I would say this is one of the better buys of the available games regardless of platform but as far as the new consoles are concerned I would consider this a game I wouldn't want to miss. I will put it this way, if you play games as merely a mechanical objective based system without regard to the actual gameplay mechanics or interest in the story I will recommend not buying this. If you play games as the character and really embrace the systems and role play through the game I will recommend buying this.

New Fan to the series!
I liked the way Phantom Pain was looking at E3 so I decided to get this to keep me busy till its release. I wish I could break down this game for a more accurate rating but its hard because of the length of the game. I knew I was getting a shorter game out the gate but I never expected it to be that short! This game is a glorified demo being under 2 hours to complete everything in the game. Sure you can go stealth all the way and waste a lot of time but it still doesn't change the fact that this game is nothing but a big glorified demo. The graphics are great and its not 1080p! I was blown away at how great this game looks! The gameplay takes some getting use to being new to the series but the gameplay is good as well... I know after this I will love Phantom Pain! I still don't think this game is worth $30 for the little content that was included.. People can bash me all they want for rating the game based on length versus gameplay and so on... If I could rate this game on each merit it would go like this. Graphics 5 stars...........Gameplay 5 stars....Sound 4 stars.....Lasting Appeal 2 stars.... Its just not something that keeps you coming back over and over again because of the length and such little content. The game served it purpose in getting us ready for Phantom pain... It still in my opinion is not worth even half the price that its selling for...Sorry if I make the OG fans mad but if anyone says otherwise its just not true.. Are we heading down the road where we are going to pay to play demos for games? I sure hope not! If money is tight I would not recommend getting this game. If you have money to blow than it might not make you mad that you spent $30 on a 2 hour game when you could of spent $10 on a 2 hour movie instead.....

More than what I had expected
The reason I am giving MGS5:GZ a full 5 stars is because all I heard about this game was how "it was a glorified demo"...blah blah blah. I am of the mindset where I like to get hands on experience BEFORE making any assumptions, and well, I have to say I am very impressed. Now lets get this straight it definitely IS NOT a full game, but there is a lot to do within Ground Zeroes. The "main story" will take anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete depending on difficulty but you then unlock side ops, four (4) to be exact and lemme tell ya these will keep you busy for hours on end as you try and best your previous score and go for the difficult to attain S rating, (MGS fans will know what that means). I don't want to spoil the game for those of you who haven't played it so I will not diverge to much info, just know that it was a great first outing for the Metal Gear franchise on the next gen X1. The Graphics are breathtaking, the controls are some of the BEST in my opinion ever for any MGS title, the sound ambiance and music excellent as always, however the iconic David Hayter not voicing the lead character was a bit of a let down, but we'll see how Sutherland holds up when MGS 5 Phantom Pain releases. All in all it is a great addition to hold us MGS fans off until the REAL game comes out. Oh I almost forgot, if you haven't played Peace Walker you might be a bit lost with the story, but it isn't really necessary just thought Id throw that in there as a side note.

Juego nuevo y sellado, el juego demasiado corto. En general el proceso de compra fue bueno.

Very short campaign, as expected, however like MGS5 it is really fun to replay using different stealth and not-so-stealthy methods. Saved bonus items retroactively to MGS5, which was a surprise.

先行無料体験版みたいな感じですね(笑) 価格が安いので購入しましたけど「適正価格じゃん」と感じました。 でもMGSは面白いので価格分ぐらいは楽しんでると感じてます。。。
