Wii Console with Mario Kart Wii Bundle - White

Worked perfect for me! No issues at all

I'm a little late on the Wii bandwagon, but this system is incredible fun. In my opinion, it is much more entertaining than the XBOX 360 Kinect. Notably, it works equally as well in a small space, while the Kinect requires more moving room, and is perfect for small living rooms and apartments, like mine, which was the final factor that sold me on purchasing it. MarioKart was a fantastic game on N64 and I was a little wary of how it would translate over to the Wii. I shouldn't have had any concerns though, because this version is a blast and can be played with or without the included steering wheel with intuitive ease. I particularly like that you can connect to other players online (wireless or wired) without having to purchase a similar product to XBOX Live. There are Nintendo Points that you can purchase to buy other special add-ons, old Nintendo games, and Channels, but with so many freebies there really isn't a need for it, at least not when you first open the box and start playing a new game on a new system. I would have liked it if the bundle included the original Wii Sports/Resort games instead (or better yet, the newly combined game version), but the steering wheel sweetens the deal. The system arrived in a big box that was shipped and delivered quickly, but was in slightly dented condition. The console was in perfect shape though and the inclusive accessories and batteries were a bonus. I would still recommend ordering it from Amazon because of the excellent condition and past customer service experiences. Overall, Nintendo did a wonderful job in designing an innovative, addictive system that was easy to set-up, has neat features for a long-time gaming family, and an appealing design.

I'm a Sony Fan Boy to the core. ( Nintendo Fan boys if you can not accept this stop reading this review). I have been playing my ps3 about 2 years now. Playing a lot of excellent games. But even a Sony's Hardcore like me, feels nostalgia about games like Zelda and Mario. Then I decided to buy a wii, when I saw the wii got a Prince drop and 30 dolar bonus , I couldnt resist the offer and I bought inmediately. The wii , in terms of hardware, is way inferior in comparison to the ps3 or 360. The wii only support up to 480p, meanwhile the 2 other system can go to HD, 1080p (how freaking amazing would have been Link or Mario in Hd!). Also it doesnt have strong online services and this is where the wii fails in the competition. To connect your wii, it must be wireless, if you want to connect you DSL cable, you need to buy another accesory , a minor problem , but for me that is annoying. Ok now that I have pointed out some little problems of the wii , let move on to where wii shines... Games !!! , Wii have seriously some of the most fun games ever made!. The ps3 have a lot of excelletn games, but if you realize most of these games are the same genre: shooting. While the wii have a lot of variety. Though the wii doesnt have the breathtaking graphics of the ps3 or 360, the game play is just excellent. I must admit the wii it is just as fun as my ps3. Super mario Galaxy 1 and 2, twilight Princesss , are just extremely amazing. Twilight Princess just top as one of my favorite game of all time. These types of game are the one that makes gamers to say: this how a game should be, exploring and having fun. Not like thos FPS online games that have made us into their slaves ( Im one of them , Damn you Modern warfare 2 for stealing my time). After playing enought alone, I bought 3 more controllers and played with my friends... just amazing ! Playin smash brawl and mario party, just makes us remember those time when the n64 was alive, playng against each other and laughing a lot. Those moments are just priceless and the wii brings it back to you. =D If you want some good games for the wii I can recommend some ( maybe our taste are different but you should at least give it a try) : Super Mario Galaxy Super Mario Galxy 2 Zelda: Twilight Princess Okami Metroid 3 Corruption Super Smash Brawl Mario Kart Mario Party Super Mario Bros wii Murasama and Many more... As of today 8/1/11 this product has been a very bad experience. I purchased this unit in May of this year. Around the middle of July all remotes lost sync with the main unit. I contacted Nintendo for corrective action. Nintendo ran me through some test to see if it can be corrected before sending it back. The test are listed on their web site. I informed them that I had already performed those test, more that once. They did not believe me and I ran through the test again. They then emailed me a FedEx return slip with RMA. Quick turn around. At first I thought it was to quick. Turns out I was right. Nintendo took my new unit, scratch free, sent me a used unit, scratches included. The new used unit worked once. Next day it was doing the same as my new unit. Again, I contacted Nintendo, and again they made me go through same test, that I again told them I had performed. When I informed him that this unit is clearly not functioning properly, he responded by notifying me that Nintendo would not send me back my unit without first ensuring that it was properly repaired. Interesting statement since they did not send me my original unit. When I questioned them about my original unit, the response was "to expensive to fix..cheaper to send another unit." The Nintendo representative than began telling me how they were going to do me a favor by providing me with another shipping label to send this faulty unit back for repair and how much they were willing to due all this for free. They than implied that normally this would cost me to have this used replacement fixed. When I get the unit back, another used unit no doubt, and it fails again, Sony Play Station here I come.

I was apprehensive, but I'm so glad I purchased! Works and looks just like new!! My kids and I are loving it! No issues whatsoever. If you are thinking of purchasing this Wii bundle, do it! I have seen some reviews mention that it does not come with the stand. That's accurate, it does not. For me though, that was not an issue and definitely not a deal breaker. You don't truly need it anyway. I'm just stoked at the quality and working condition of the Wii and the Mario Cart disc!

The remote wasn’t working so I contacted them to let them know. Not too long after, they told me they would send me a new one with a little gift! I was extremely pleased by their answer and by how fast the answered. Now everything is working and I can finally play Mario Kart! :)

Remote for Wii doesnt work. Just got my hdmi adapter so was excited to use my Wii. Remote won't work. Looks like battery leaked on terminals. No way to contact sender for replacement. Be wary of purchase

console itself is perfect. extremely loud but that’s part of the wii trying to run lol! the remote is in very poor condition but it still works so for that, 4 stars. game disc works properly and was in great condition. wii wheel also in great condition. recommend to any other buyers to purchase an extra wii remote as it took probably 5 minutes for the remote to connect to the console. wii’s typically take a while for a remote to connect but it was a little long of a wait. nunchuck not much to say on it, works as expected. not in perfect condition but again it works. so glad to own a wii again! thank you to the seller.
