Really nice uke and It smells like wood!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Aklot tenor bamboo ukulele (no cut away)Fabulous gig bag. Probably the best I’ve received on an entry level ukulele. This is also the first time receiving a humidifier in the accessories pack. The ukulele is beautiful. Beautiful open tuning heads, two strap buttons, fret markets along the fretboard and side of the neck, compensated saddle. You can see the wood (grass) grain of the bamboo on the interior of the ukulele. Not a high volume uke, perhaps due to the bamboo having to be glued together or the Aquila strings, but, there is some nice resonance. A few of the frets are poking out a bit. I would recommend changing the nut and saddle to black ebony. That would look really goo!Regularly $89.99I purchased at a sale price for $76.49. This is an excellent beginner uke which I would recommend.

No regrets!
This is a beautiful ukulele! I like the look and feel of bamboo, and the sound is crisp and clear and bright. I put a set of Aquila low G strings on because I like having a low G, and after a few days of letting everything warm up with playing, the sound quality got better and better. The accessories it comes with are really nice, and if you're just starting out, make this purchase ideal for you. The bag is just stellar. I've never bought a ukulele that came with a bag this good before. It's padded so well; even the front pocket is padded. There's only one problem, and I hope the manufacturer sees this comment: where the brand name is on the head, the ink bled into the bamboo fibers, looking unattractive and blurry. For an instrument that looks and feels and sounds this good, it's jarring to see such a cheap looking name stamp. The ukulele did not, thankfully, have the words on the body that are pictured in some photos! They listened to that feedback and changed it, so I hope they have a look at this issue too!I strongly recommend this ukulele to novices and seasoned players alike!

This ukelele can not dissapoint. !
This uekelele is beautiful! It passed my exspectations, it is so very smooth and had a little weight to it, it feels strong and solid. I purchased it for My husband, he plays guitar and doesn't play it as much as he would like, I thought maybe a ukelele would be easier to just pick up and fiddle with to hear and have the music without the amp and or huge guitar on your lap! He is a natural with it and it is an absolute wonderful beautiful insteament to hear , while hanging around the house on a Saturday. Love love love this product! I may have to buy one for myself next! ... And the bamboo is gorgeous. And it also came with that humidifier and tuner and case and my husband thought the case was very very nice.👌 We are happy customers 🎶

A lovely instrument
It is so pretty! Sounds great. I love the orientation of the tuners.I have had it for a few weeks now and the strings have adjusted (allow 2-3 wks for stretching), and it is a delight to play.

Rough around the edges, dull sound
The ukulele doesn't sound as good as I hoped, and the strings don't really hold the tuning even after some time. The ukulele also feels a bit rough around the edges, especially the frets. Even for the price, I was expecting a little more given the decent reviews.
