Excellent product, sensitive electronics. Serves as a great alarm deterrent as well!
So far, it has been working excellent. This has been after 6 months of use. It's very sensitive, it has very well built in electronics. For some reason it comes with extra batteries, but there's already batteries inside. And the batteries are full strength. Easy to put on, easy to put off. I just wish that the orange cord, the reminder cord that you put on your brake handle or your throttle, would be a little bit longer. I have a Suzuki Boulevard C50 (a cruiser) and so the distance from the brake rotor to the right brake handle, is a little bit long, and it feels like I'm putting a lot of strain on the orange cord. It's just very tight (hoping it will never snap) so if they made this just 2 inches longer, that would solve the problem. That's my only input. Everything else is perfect

Alarm randomly goes off
Updated Review: The seller reached out to me immediately and provided a full refund to me for this item. I must have just happened to receive a product with the slight defect noted below. However, as I mentioned below, the lock itself still works well. I respect businesses that obsess over their customers and maintain integrity. Therefore, I am adding 2 stars back (5 stars). I would recommend purchasing this product from this business if you are on the fence since you’ll be taken care of if something goes wrong.Original Review: The lock itself works fine. I have not had any issues with unlocking or locking. However, the built in alarm started getting triggered randomly. I parked in an indoor garage with no exposure to wind/movement and no direct exposure to other elements such as rain. My 30 day return window elapsed, so I was forced to resort to removing the batteries to the alarm (it is very loud and I cannot risk disturbing my neighbors if it goes off while I am gone) and so I strictly started using this as a lock, which was disappointing. I was hoping to have the alarm functionality. The issue started occurring about 60 days after purchasing. I have owned this lock less than one year as of the date of this review. I deducted 2 stars for the alarm issue. If the manufacturer or seller reaches out to resolve the issue, I will update my review accordingly.

This lock is worth the cost and easy to use.
Okay lets talk, no this is not an AI review.First off the price point attracted me. I recieved it today and it is packaged very well. You get the lock, spare set of batteries (I do wish they were not button batteries but at least they give you a second set) a nylon pouch to hold everything, a coiled lanyard, two keys, an allen key to open area to replace batteries.By the weight you can tell this is not some cheap lock. The alarm is pretty piercing and loud. The throat is pretty deep so even if your rotor doesnt have cooling holes it still can reach the cutouts so it will lock onto the rotor.Am I happy with the purchase? YES, actually I will order a second one for my second ebike. (You cant be too carefull) SIZE: takes up the room of two packs of cigaretts. Definintely with the cost as long as batteries got a decent life on them.

Works great
We love this product. We just wish that it was a little more durable as far as where the key goes In to unlock the lock itself. So we live in a residential area where there’s a lot of people so waking up early in the morning and having to try to wrestle around with the key to get it in just right after a while it’s hard to get it in and the alarm goes off and it’s very loud, which is great you know it works, but as far as the key going in so many times, it feels like it’s starting to wear, which is scary. The only way to take it off if was to get stuck would to be by replacing the whole disc brake itself on the minibike…other then those things, it’s loud and it also is very touchy. For instance, when it rains really hard, it will make it go off. The wind hasn’t seem to touch it. Only the rain has seemed to set it off.

Simple and Effective
I've owned and used this lock for an entire riding season. Its batteries have lasted that long, and have shown no indication of running out. It's small but heavy, and my god is it sensitive.Maybe that's the only thing I dislike about it is how oversensitive it can be- if I know it'll rain, I'll make sure to put it on the back wheel instead of the front wheel, because if the rain hits it, it will go off. It's been very sturdy, and I find I don't use the cable it comes with. It's so sensitive that if you even start opening up the tail bag casually instead of carefully, it'll beep at you.I live in an area where there are people around all the time, so I use it as more of a 'pay attention to me, I'm getting stolen!!' alarm than an actual theft deterrent. When I sleep, I leave my window cracked open. If anyone touches the bike, even the neighbor's cat, it'll chirp and I'll know to listen to see if it goes into full scream-mode.The alarm itself is pretty loud and piercing. It does hurt my ears up close, and it's *very* noticeable even several hundred feet away. (Definitely wakes me up at night when it rains and I forget to move it to the sheltered brake rotor on the back wheel!)Pros:-small, easy to store-very durable-loud-battery lasts long-water and weather resistant/proof-direction of unlocking twist (clockwise) means that if you mount it right, it's easier to unlock without going offCons:-Can be oversensitive-Goes off in the rain-lock mechanism is beginning to get a bit stiff after one year of weather-induced neglectWould I buy it again? Oh yeah, it's perfect for my use-case scenario.
