I was able to install this. Initially opening up the Pixel3 was VERY difficult. I've installed batteries in half a dozen tablets and phones in the past and this was by far the most challenging. Once the phone was pried open the provided cell fit in perfectly and the phone went back together without a problem. Battery life is quite good with the replacement cell. Likely as good as the original or better, although I cannot honestly remember back that far for a fair comparison. I'm VERY happy with the battery life.TLDR, if you're experienced, or about to toss out your phone anyways, give this a try. You might need additional tools over what's provided. I ended up breaking the provided plastic prying tools and used a piece of clear packing material from a blister pack to slice the phone's adhesive.

ordered Dec 15, 2022 it's already failing to hold a charge. I don't use my phone that much it started failing about 2 weeks ago, would show 50% charged and then the phone would just turn off, works fine plugged into the wall, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

The kit comes with everything you need to replace the battery in a Pixel 3. I used a Youtube video to guide me through the swap, and it was fairly easy. Make sure you get all the connectors seated. You do compromise the factory water seal when replacing the battery, and this is true for all phones of this type, so not a flaw in this kit. The battery fit, perfectly and has worked, flawlessly, for well over a week. Excellent product, price, and transaction!

The battery fit perfectly and the tools provided were good (actually better tools than I got with the rear panel replacement). After installing, I allowed the battery to drain completely and then charged full. I let it discharge to a pretty low % and reset the phone's power before recharging the first few times. I've been using it for about 3 weeks.Battery life:The battery life seems to be decreasing already. In only a few weeks, I notice the battery life is not as good as in the beginning. Initially I got 2.5 days on a single charge but now I get about 1.5 days on single charge. It's not bad but I'm just not confident that it's going to last a long time due to such a noticable change so early on.You can see in the screenshot I attached how quickly it discharged with light usage. About 30% discharge in the 1st 10 hours with occasional light usage, then the next 10 hours it drained 10-15% with no usage. It's not bad but it was noticably better during the first week.Recharging issue:This battery doesn't usually recharge back to 100%. It usually stops at somewhere between 80 to 85%. Sometimes it won't charge at all and I have to try again but I don't realize until I wake up in the morning because the phone says it's charging but the battery % hasn't changed. This never happened with the OEM battery. In the screenshot I attached, you can see it stopped charging at around 80% despite still being on the charger. I'm assuming it's something to do with the "intelligence" built into the battery. The manufacturer claims it has a microchip to prevent overcharging and I'm sure it's a little flakey. That's nice if this feature extends the battery life but what if I want it fully charged?

My Pixel 3 was 3 or more years old and the battery was getting so that sometimes it didn't last all day. When new, the battery would last 2 days if usage was moderate. I installed this battery and it is hard to tell for sure but I would say that it is nearly as good as the original battery was when new.Thee only provided tool that worked was the little screw driver. To split the glued-together case, I used a thin plastic ruler and found it worked okay. If you watch some YouTube videos first and take your time it should go alright. Keep track of which screw goes where since the screw length varies. When you put the case back together, the glue may not be perfect so water resistance will likely be compromised.

Battery works perfect. Kit arrived as advertised. Would buy again.Be advised that this operation is not for the faint of heart. Some things that will hopefully help you, if you decide to have a go at it:* Watch some youtube videos of the operation in advance.* My phone (Pixel 3) has a tempered glass back panel. It came off in about 100 pieces, despite my best efforts. Maybe you will do better. If not, you'll wish you'd ordered a replacement back panel.* Replacing the back panel on the Pixel 3 involves using a heat gun to remove some small pieces (camera lens, flash lens, fingerprint reader) from the old back panel, and sticking them to the new panel with adhesive.* A cheap stainless steel dental pick kit does wonders for thoroughly removing the old adhesives and gasket material from the phone before applying new adhesives.Hope this saves someone some hassle. In the end my phone turned out better than new. Happy I did it.

The battery does seem to last longer and does not discharge as quick. I'd recommend this battery for all ZTE ZMax Pro owners for longer talk time and stand by. This battery is better than the stock version that came with the phone. The price is great too. as for adhesion not so keen on the wide stips that are hard to get off the film they're attached to and stretch till there unusable. That's the only flaw this battery has is the Adhesion stips.
